Romain Cognasse, Electronics Engineering

About me

Electrical Engineer, graduate of INSA Strasbourg and holder of a Master’s degree in Automation and Robotics from Télécom Physique Strasbourg, I am passionate about designing innovative electronic systems. My interest in embedded electronics began early, from building my first LEGO Mindstorms robots to my current projects combining hardware, software, and 3D printing.

Throughout my studies and internships, I have worked on complex systems, including a railway localization project based on train-to-track communication and electromagnetic analysis. These experiences have allowed me to develop strong skills in analog and digital electronics, signal processing, PCB design and routing, microcontroller programming, hardware/software integration, and prototype validation in demanding industrial environments.

Curious, rigorous, and versatile, I enjoy turning complex technical challenges into practical and reliable solutions.
